Each week we will explore a different color using different plants, with one session being devoted to eco-printing. In this workshop series you will learn everything you need to create beautiful, vibrant, colorfast natural dye colors. By working with differnt mordants and various color combinations you will learn to create a wide range of colors from bright primary colors to deep muted earth tones, my favorite palette. You can sign up for classes separately or sign up as a series and receive a package discount. Sign up for the whole series and you will also receive one pre-mordanted silk scarf to work on throughout the series so you can build up your project with multiple color blending and eco-printing on one scarf. Or you can purchase additional scarves if you want to make one per class. This series will build each session to create colors that can later be layered with different colors to achieve a wide array of colors, as well as botanical prints.

Class 1 - Dive deep into reds with madder root 

Class 2 - Explore gold and yellows with marigold and goldenrod -  this session will prepare our pieces for gorgeous greens when we get to indigo. 

Class 3 - Bountiful blossoms and leaves - Explore eco-printing 

Class 4 - The magic of Blues - Finish our pieces with Indigo 

Cost is $75/class and $275 for the whole series.
