As a continuation of Inanna’s Temple Part I in November, (these 2 programs can be taken together or separate) this retreat happens in the Spring, following the dark time of the year, our seasonal descent. Together we will gather in sacred space to reap the rich potency and treasures of the dark season, preparing ourselves for our ascent and return. We will continue to explore the wisdom and depth of Inannna’s story and how it has been carried through time right up to modern day. Being buried for 5000 years only made available again to the world in the 1980’s, at the time we most need her most. Inanna, the goddess, Queen of Heaven and Earth, is the original steward of the Resurrection Myth. Please join me for Inanna Rising.

With over 30 years as a spiritual aspirant and a lifetime of trials and tribulations each followed by profound initiations, from the devotee path of eastern traditions, to western esoteric wisdom, to earth based mysticism and deep connection with plant realm, I find through it all I return to one truth, that we’re all on a journey to return home. And that we are all walking each other home. This is a journey to re-member ourselves whole again. 

What I see most needed today to bring wholeness and healing is the medicine of the divine feminine, which will in turn heal the wounded masculine. This is what I come back to time and time again and what after a lifetime of seeking I believe to be the most essential wisdom needed today. We find ourselves in a tragedy of separation, separation from nature, self, and other, with no coherent story to guide us. 

In the stories of Inanna I believe can be found the blueprint laid to heal this cultural wounding, individually and collectively to restore harmony in the world. Because while this is a personal journey of exploration and healing for each individual, when we do this work of healing the divine feminine for ourselves, we are also healing this wound on a cultural level. We are the medicine needed today. It starts with us.

Without being aware of it I have been walking with Inanna my entire life. She has stood by me steadfast. But not until a year ago did she come to me so directly and profoundly. How she found me is another story but when she did I knew my entire life was about to change and it has, in ways I never could have imagined. Over the past year she has been guiding me, teaching me, and showing me the way of the divine feminine in service of healing all beings, men, women, and the earth. Her story has awakened my deepest truths, truths I believe the world needs to know, experience, and feel.

In this time with her I have become a priestess and devotee of Inanna. I have read and re-read her stories, which set me up for my ultimate initiation descent and ascent with her. I have digested her stories and her medicine in deeply embodied and mystical ways. 

I have also committed to thoroughly researching everything I can get my hands on about her as well as the historical context in which her stories arose and including how her wisdom, wisdom of the mother goddess, the divine feminine was systematically removed from the narrative and the culture. It was successfully buried for 5000 years as the world has been dominated by patriarchy. Only within about the last 50 years was her story discovered and translated, now when we need it most, she is rising. This story is so potent and powerful, the first recorded story of human history, 5000 years ago, written about a woman, containing the blueprint for the healing needed today, the path of returning home, to our whole selves again. 

And not only does this story contain the vitality of the goddess in an age when she was still intact but it also foretells the coming of the patriarchy, from which we all suffer, all genders, and this story contains within it the antidote for our time. 

We will learn how this throughline, this lineage of her teachings and the divine feminine can be followed throughout time from Inanna to Isis, Lilith, Persephone, Mary Magdelene, and so many others. All which we will discover and celebrate together throughout the weekend. This lineage begins with Inanna. She is the original steward of our cultural myths that have been corrupted by patriarchy, it is all there, the original teachings in a way like no other.

There is so much to this story that I feel I could dedicate my entire life to bringing these teachings to the world and so I begin here with you.

Over this weekend I will offer you the teachings of Inanna and the divine feminine through a variety embodied exercises, practices, somatic experiences, council, ceremony, dreamwork, plant realms, and story, together in sacred container, in a way that will awaken these teachings for us.

My elders instruct me to find one story, one story that weaves us back together into the fabric of all that is life affirming, even if it’s just one story, to deeply embody it, and walk that story out into the world. And I believe I have found that story for myself and the world and it is my honor to share this story with you. I do hope you will join me.
