To reconnect with Pachamama—our Great Mother Earth—and remember the loving support that is always available beneath your feet.
The dominant culture teaches us to keep moving, producing, achieving, and pushing ahead—even when our bodies are asking us to stop.
Over time, this constant doing can separate us from our deeper longings, our true self, and causes us to feel separate and alone, disconnected from self, one another, and the living world around us.
We may feel overwhelmed, ungrounded, or as though everything has become too much to bear alone.
Lay your body upon the Earth.
Release some of what you have been carrying.
Remember that beneath you is Pachamama—our original Mother—ready to hold, receive, and nourish you.
Ideally, choose a place in nature where you can comfortably lie with your belly against the Earth. This could be a garden, a patch of grass, a peaceful place in the woods, or anywhere you feel safe and supported.
You may wish to bring:
There is nothing you need to achieve here.
Simply give yourself permission to slow down, listen, and receive.

When you have found your place on the Earth and feel ready, begin the guided ceremony below.
You will be invited to release the heaviness you have been carrying and open yourself to receive the loving nourishment of Pachamama.

Take your time before returning to your day.
Notice what is present in your body.
You may feel lighter, more grounded, tender, emotional, spacious, tired, peaceful, or something you cannot yet name. There is no right way to experience this practice.
You may wish to reflect on these questions:
You can return to this ceremony whenever you feel heavy, overwhelmed, disconnected, or in need of support.
The Great Mother Earth is always with you.
The path home is always available.
We live within a culture that values constant doing, productivity, and achievement. We are rarely encouraged to pause, turn inward, or listen to the deeper wisdom moving through our bodies.
There is another way.
A way that asks us to slow down.
To return to presence.
To look within. An invitation to sit with our pained self, be with our discomfort, and in doing so, release our heaviness to the earth, she wants to take our burdens.
This is the way.
To make space for what lies within, what burdens us, and to bear witness to this in order to let our heaviness be released.
Remember our connection with the natural world supports us and holds us.
This is a path of return.
Returning to the Great Mother.
The Great Mother is life-giving, nurturing, and generative. She is also fierce, loving and destructive. She will burn what does not serve us, what is too much to bear.
And she is beneath us, around us, and within us. We are her.
At Twin Pond Sanctuary
We are creating space for this return -
through ceremony, nature, community, and practices
that invite us to slow down and come back into relationship with what is sacred.
