Join us to explore the healing power of the BREATH and let us share some inner retreat time on a beautiful and nourishing land.
This program is wonderful for all who are seeking time with your interiority, psyche and soul inside of a supportive container ...no matter if you have done breathwork before or not.
Mireya will be guiding us in HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK is a powerful experiential approach to self-exploration, personal transformation, spiritual awareness, inquiry and healing. A powerful way to release stuck energies, feelings, old patterns, memories and open to new spaces that will support a fuller expression of your most authentic being.
It integrates insights from modern consciousness research, anthropology, various depth psychologies, transpersonal psychology, Eastern spiritual practices, and mystical traditions of the world.
Breathwork was developed by Stanislav Grof, MD and Christina Grof, two leading pioneers in the field of Transpersonal Psychology. Holotropic means literally "moving toward wholeness" from the Greek "holos" - whole, and "trapein" - moving in the direction of something.
Together we will open up the space on Friday evening, have a deep exploration through breath work on Saturday, and then Mireya offers a unique way to work with Integration on the Sunday after the Holotropic Breathwork day. This is a very helpful way to digest, deepen, understand and embody what comes up for you during your journey on the day before and anchor your experience from the weekend.
Marie Rose will be guiding us into the realm of embodied dream work, being in deep relation with our dreaming life, not only sleeping but waking dreams as well. There is so much richness in this world of dream and the imagination, so much potential for transformation, growth, and rebirth here. Connecting with our dream life we access our inner wise one, our unconscious wisdom that lives deep within us. She also works in deep relationship with the plant world and will be guiding us with the spirits of the plant world to support us throughout the weekend.
We will provide simple continental breakfast options and simple dinner on Saturday. Arrive on Friday already fed or bring snacks and bring your own lunches, pre-made is ideal.
You are welcome to bring your own food as needed.
Pre-registration is required, space is limited.
Accommodations on site are available upon request, contact us for info.

Mireya Alejo Marcet, MA, MFT, is a Mexican therapist, artist, and teacher who lives and works between California and Mexico, offering her work locally and internationally. She is an expressive arts psychotherapist (CIIS, 2002), astrologer, and certified Grof Holotropic Breathwork facilitator (1993). Her therapeutic and teaching work is informed by her training with curanderas (medicine women) in Mexico during her studies in social anthropology and after, as well as more than three decades of work with expanded states of consciousness. She integrates expressive arts, ceremonial practices, somatic awareness, and the astrological chart as tools for soul expression, healing, and rebirthing.
Mireya trained with Stan and Christina Grof in the early 1990s and served on the senior staff of Grof Transpersonal Training for 15 years. In 2013, she was invited to develop a training on the topic of integration titled “The Art and Practice of Integration of Expanded States of Consciousness.” This work weaves Grof theory, expressive arts, the imaginal realm, somatic awareness, and relationship with the earth. She offers this work through individual sessions, groups, and online programs, and regularly facilitates Holotropic Breathwork and integration groups.
Mireya is also the creator of “Altar Creation – A Canvas in Movement,” a practice that connects participants with their inner life and the sacred through altar-making and multimodal expressive arts. She regularly facilitates women's circles. She is an adjunct professor in the Expressive Arts program at the California Institute of Integral Studies and previously served as a mentor in the Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research program.
Mireya deeply believes in the power of creating sacred, creative, and permission-giving environments that support personal, collective, and spiritual transformation. Because she continually turns to the arts for healing in her own life, those who work with her find a safe space to explore, uncover, and release material from the depths of the psyche.
She offers online and in-person individual sessions, group work, consultation, and teaching.

Marie Rose is a priestess, mystic, and ceremonialist. She brings deep life learned experience and wisdom to all she does. She has a deep passion for dreamwork, a background in Hakomi Mindfulness-Centered Somatic Experience Work, and Nature Based Mysticism.
